Painéis de Lamelas Cruzadas com Cavilhas (DCLT, em inglês)
As premissas do projeto INCT – Madeiras da Amazônia são: (1) sem tecnologia da madeira, o manejo florestal sustentável (MFS) ficará mais distante da realidade amazônica; (2) sem MFS, a floresta exercendo o papel de floresta tende a perder a batalha para o desmatamento e (3) sem floresta, a biodiversidade tende a deixar de ser uma janela de oportunidades para as próximas gerações brasileiras.
Este vídeo é resultante da cooperação entre o Laboratório de Manejo Florestal (LMF) do INPA e o Laboratório de Madeira e Estruturas de Madeira (LaMEM) da EESC-USP. A produção de painéis de lamelas cruzadas com cavilhas (DCLT, em inglês) é o objetivo principal de um projeto financiado pela FAPEAM e FAPESP.

Dowel Cross Laminated Timber (DCLT)
The INCT – Amazonian Wood assumptions are: (1) without wood technology, the accomplishment of the sustainable forest management (MFS, in Portuguese) in the Amazon region will be tougher; (2) without MFS, the Amazonian forests will lose the battle for the deforestation, and (3) without forests, the biodiversity tends to disappear as a priceless opportunity window for the next Brazilian generations.
This video is an outcome of the cooperation between Forest Management Laboratory (LMF) of INPA and Wood Laboratory and Wood Structure Laboratory (LaMEM) of EESC-USP. The production of Dowel Cross Laminated Timber (DCLT) is the main objective of a project supported by the agreement between FAPEAM and FAPESP.
